I’ve decided to pop a few Orange Stash Version 5 freebie beans to get the indoor grow started.      I’ll be growing in peat moss + perlite + a dash of home raised worm castings using Beanstalk Agriculture controlled release fertilizer.  Also using a newly purchased AutoPot XL 4 pot system. Pots are 6.6 gallons but will likely use 2x 6.6 pots and 2x 3 gallon grow bags.  Big pots will be a 2’x4’ tent with 240 watt QB led and the smaller bags will be in a 2’x2.5’ tent with a 55W Autocob and a 65W Autocob.

@dragon do use hydrogen peroxide when soaking seeds for germination? I feel like I came across a forum post or Instagram comment where you mentioned using some h2o2 to help germination. Am I remembering correctly?

4 of 4 Orange Stash v5 sprouted. Also 2 of 2 Honey Badger Haze x Spiced Jack from buddinggardeners.  Seeds were soaked for 24 hours in a solution on 3% h2o2 and spring water. 1 part h2o2 to 4/5 parts water.  After soaking seeds were planted in solo cups filled with a 50/50 blend of ProMix Premium Moisture Potting Mix and Perlite.  Watered with spring water with aloe and coconut water powder added.  The first few broke soil on Monday and the rest were all above soil as of this morning (Wednesday).

next step is watch them grow for a bit then clip some small leaf samples for sex testing.

@brian yea i like to use h202 as a soak - I generally do 30 mins in pure h202 before paper towel, and usually in the paper towl I damp it down with a water / h202 mix - usually just a splash of h202.  and yes, a splash is a scientific unit of measurement lol

Sex test results are in and 2 of the 4 Orange Stash are female and 2 of 2 HBHxSJ are female.  4 females is exactly what I was hoping for
