Well, Figured I cant really make a forum...without putting up a grow log of my own garden! Going forward ill keep this updated, and I figure Ill do a quick recap now of what we got going on at the moment.
In the lower / main Greenhouse we have a cycle currently in veg, which is currently being deleafed and prepped for flower. This round will be seeded (hopefully) with reversed mac dragon pollen. To that, I flipped 8 decent sized mac dragon donors, which were flipped into flower april 1st, and have now been sprayed with STS reversal spray 3 times now.
Next to the lower greenhouse we have a group of Vietnamese black (snowhigh) which are nearly done flowering. There were 3 males and 3 females that went to make open pollination seeds. These are flowering with no greenhouse, and are just outside in the natural hawaii climate, getting tons of rain and humidity on a daily basis. These will be harvested very shortly.
In the veg greenhouse, we have a large mix of seed plants that are nice teens, and are there mainly looking for a male in case the mac dragon reversals end up failing for what ever reason. Right now Im leaning on a blackberry moonshine male as a sub...
We also have snow highs purple dalat Vietnamese vegging, which will be flipped next outside to make open pollination dalat seeds.
We also have some lipsmacker (exotic), ohana breath (ohanababygocrazy) sour cherry (breeders boutique) sweet tooth f4 (higher hieghts mendo) going to look for some suitable breeding mothers to do some collab project lines.
From my own work - got a cycle of mac dragon 7 vegging, meatbreath x ghana, congolese hashplant, bangin dreams, mac dragon from seed, blackberry moonshine bx1, blackberry moonshine, banging dreams, banging cherries, Bulgarian moonshine, and prob a few more I am forgetting off the top of my head.
the mac dragons sitting in a line next to my barn, under the overhang to keep the bulk of the rain off them. Last reversal i had the plants out in the field, and they didn't reverse properly. I am attributing it to rain washing the STS spray off, so this round, we made some adjustments. Also doubled the number of plants being reversed...as Its high priority to make enough mac dragon seeds to be able to put thru testing and get them to release.
That Mac dragon 10 looks unreal.
well, the new spot greenhouse is officially online, and looking like a fat ufo. Got the first 36 of the 25 gallons over, filled, and plants transplanted in, then watered heavily with some recharge and veg food. They were all pretty rootbound in 2s and 3s so definitely needed the up pot. My home veg greenhouse was stuffed to the gills so just had no space to get them up. only halfway done, got another 30 to bring over to the spot and get situated.
second spot is coming along nicely now, got things vegging away for prob another week or so.
Still need to: Pull clones, get 2 more IPM sprays in, arrange the cords and hoses in a clean n tidy way, clean again, get things trellised up, and the roll up sides and ends on. But, its starting to come together.
My goal from this spot...is 15-20 pounds. 54 plants this cycle means I need 5-6 zips on average. all in 25s, most the garden is now 4 footers...so I think by time I flip we will end up with a nice full canopy...so I hope anyway lol.
