It’s been a busy and transformative year at Dragons Flame Genetics—full of new challenges, familiar hurdles, and meaningful forward momentum.
As many of you know, life has pulled me in a number of directions: between running DFG, pursuing my honors college degree, managing my home, caring for animals, and now preparing for law school, and dealing with ongoing health issues, time has become my most limited resource. After a lot of reflection, I’ve come to the hard decision that this will be my last summer running Dragons Flame Genetics.
I know that in recent months, my turnaround time on orders hasn’t lived up to the standard I’ve always aimed for. For those who’ve been frustrated by delays, I hear you and appreciate your patience more than I can express. I truly believed I could juggle it all—but the reality is that law school is demanding, and the wise voices who told me I’d need to let some things go were right.
This summer, I’ll be focused on one final project: getting as many of my genetics as possible out of cold storage and into your hands. I don’t want these lines to go to waste, and this will be my final "hooray" before I take the DFG website offline in the fall.
It’s bittersweet to step away, but I’m proud of the journey and deeply grateful to everyone who’s supported DFG along the way. Your enthusiasm, trust, and shared passion have meant everything.
Thank you all for being part of this ride.
Over the years, what’s meant the most to me hasn’t just been creating and releasing genetics—it’s been seeing what you have done with them. From backyard growers to seasoned cultivators, the photos, stories, and results you’ve shared have been nothing short of inspiring.
As I prepare to wrap up this chapter, I want to celebrate the legacy we’ve built together. Below are just a few highlights from the DFG community—testaments to your skill, passion, and the shared dedication that made this work worthwhile. These are your plants, your craft, and your contribution to the story of Dragons Flame Genetics.
